Here are some comments received from parents whose children attended the 2007 Summer Program.

"As a parent, I want to express my thanks to the staff at 3-D. Some of the Coaches' comments & instruction really made an impression on my daughter and elevated her confidence. She was moved up to Varsity as a freshman, and the Coach is expecting her to return and contribute this year. That pressure had her stressing, and she had periods of self-doubt about her game. But, by trying to be competitive with the boys at 3-D Camp and taking what some of the coaches gave, she now seems to have more confidence in her game. She’s still a young sophomore (14 years old), but she running on the treadmill, eating better and working on her moves! The 3-D’s, who knew!?

I send my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Butler, the coaches and staff for making her summer camp experience a memorable one. She learned valuable skills for basketball and witnessed a family working together toward a goal. She made a point to show me each of Mr. Butler’s family members from Wisconsin, she was so impressed that they came to Maryland to help him with camp.

"I want to let you know that my son & his 2 school friends really enjoyed the Caron Butler 3-D Basketball camp at Bishop McNamara High School! Everyday they would come home with all sorts of exciting stories about camp and what they learned and the people they met. Everyday when they got home from camp they would be outside playing basketball practicing the skills they learned.

Caron was always so gracious to the children and taking the time to talk with them and sign autographs. There were two highlights for my son- the day when he got a hi-five from Caron! Then on the last day Caron actually taught him how to shoot a 3 pointer! WOW! Practice at home that evening lasted 2 hrs entirely devoted to shooting 3 pointers!

The only down side is that camp is over!

They look forward to attending next year!

The high school facilities & location were perfect too - very convenient for working parents. The coaches were top notch!

"On behalf of my son and myself, I would like to thank Caron Butler and the entire staff of the 3D Basketball Camp for a wonderful week at camp.

I was only able to attend camp on the final day to watch my son play, but as a parent I would like to commend Caron on his efforts to make each child feel welcomed! Each evening that I picked my son up he had nothing but good things to say about what Caron and Coach Greg taught him about basketball. Malik came into camp with a Kobe Bryant jersey on and by mid-week we were out searching for a Caron Butler jersey.
